Tim Williams is Vice President of Marketing and External Affairs at GreyStone Power Corporation headquartered in Hiram, Georgia. He has been employed 37 years at GreyStone, which provides electric service to more than 125,000 member-owners in portions of eight metro Atlanta counties.
Mr. Williams began serving on the Go Energy Financial Credit Union Board in 2004. Since 2013, he has served on the Technical College System of Georgia State Board from the 13 th Congressional District.
He is an Alabama native and a graduate of the University of Alabama.

Greg Ford is president and chief executive officer of Atlanta-based Georgia System Operations Corporation, a not-for-profit corporation owned by 38 of Georgia’s distribution electric membership corporations, Oglethorpe Power Corporation and Georgia Transmission Corporation. He has been with the company since its inception in 1997, and was elected president and CEO in 2007.
Prior to joining GSOC, he worked for nearly 11 years at Florida Power & Light. In addition to his role at GSOC, Mr. Ford serves on a variety of industry association boards. He is the immediate past chairman of the SERC Reliability Corporation Board of Directors, and served on SERC’s Board Compliance Committee. Mr. Ford is a member and past chairman of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, or NERC, Member Representative Committee, and represents the cooperative electrical sector. He has participated on several additional NERC committees including the current chair of the Reliability Security and Technical Committee. He is a member of Homeland Security’s Electric Subsector Coordination Council (ESCC).
Mr. Ford is also active in the community. He had been a member of the American Red Cross Blood for nearly a decade. He is also a member and past chairman of the LifeBoard committee for the Atlanta chapter of the American Red Cross. Mr. Ford currently serves as a board member for Go Energy Financial Credit Union.
An Alabama native, Mr. Ford is a graduate of Auburn University.
Matt Brinson is the General Manager of Planters Electric Membership Corporation, a position that he assumed February 1, 1999. Planters EMC serves consumers in seven counties in southeast Georgia. Matt has been employed with Planters EMC for 45 years, beginning as a warehouse clerk, plant accountant, manager of administrative services and assistant manager. Matt graduated from Jenkins County High School in 1976 and Georgia Southern University in 1989 with a BBA in Accounting.
He began serving on the Go Energy Financial Credit Union Board in April of 1995 and also serves on the Smarr EMC and Georgia Energy Cooperative Boards.
He is deacon at West Millen Baptist Church. He lives in Millen with his wife Jancey. They have two children; Brookes age 32, who is a graduate of UGA and has a graduate degree from Vanderbilt University and currently works as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner in Athens, GA and Will, age 29, who is a graduate of UGA and works for Helena Chemicals in Statesboro, GA.
Nominations by petition may be submitted to the Board Secretary, Dawn Haskins. The petition must contain signatures of at least 1% of credit union members in good standing, maximum of 500. Petitions with nominee bio and qualifications must be submitted by February 2, 2022. If a petition is submitted, information for the nominee(s) will be posted in all credit union lobbies by February 7, 2022, for a period of 35 days. Elections will be held by acceptable ballot if there is more than one candidate for each expiring board seat. There will be no voting at the annual meeting and nominations may not be made from the meeting floor.
