Amy Rouse

Amy Rouse, Executive Vice President of Corporate Services for Jackson Electric Membership Corporation, has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. In Amy’s role, she supports the areas of Finance & Accounting, Strategic Planning & Analytics, Risk Management, and Human Resources & Employee Development. She also works closely with the Jackson EMC Foundation. Amy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Go Energy Credit Union as well as the Board of Directors of the Developmental Disabilities Ministries. Amy received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Mercer University in her hometown of Macon, GA. She is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA, National Association for Cooperative Accountants, and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Georgia Board of Accountancy. Amy and her husband, Keith, have been married for more than 20 years, have two children, and are residents of Bostwick, GA.

Tony Tucker

Tony serves as President/CEO of Mitchell EMC, serving 14 counties in Southwest Georgia. He has served in this position since April 2010. Tucker’s career began 43 years ago with Irwin EMC, where he held
several positions in the operations, accounting and customer service departments. He was named the V. P. of Finance and Administration and served in this capacity for 17 years until he was named President and CEO of Mitchell EMC. During his career, Tony developed financial plans, multi-million-dollar loan packages, equity plans and rate impact studies and most recently a Fiber to the Home project.

Tony graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with an Associates degree in business and Georgia Southwestern College with a degree in Business Administration. He has been married for 41 years to Laura Beth, and they have 3 sons. Tony currently serves on the board of directors of the GoEnergy Financial Credit Union, the Georgia Energy Cooperative, and Georgia Transmission Corporation. He has previously served as an officer of the Georgia Rural Electric Managers Association. He is an active member of the Camilla Rotary Club and the Camilla United Methodist Church.

Tony was recently named as the Outstanding Business Leader by the ABAC Alumni Association and most recently was inducted into the ABAC Presidents Club. In 2017, Tony was named the Outstanding Business Person by the Camilla Chamber of Commerce.

Petition process for interested parties

Nominations by petition may be submitted to the Board Secretary, James Wright. The petition must contain signatures of at least 1% of credit union members in good standing, maximum of 500. Petitions with nominee bio and qualifications must be submitted by February 9, 2024. If a petition is submitted, information for the nominee(s) will be posted in all credit union lobbies by February 14, 2024, for a period of 35 days. Elections will be held by acceptable ballot if there is more than one candidate for each expiring board seat. There will be no voting at the annual meeting and nominations may not be made from the meeting floor.
